| These are pictures taken on a long lay over while working in the Bahamas. We had about five hours to kill in Nassau before heading to the next island and I figured we would check out the straw market area of Nassau instead of sitting in the airport. We took a quick two hour tour of the area and then made it back to the airport in time for our flight. The straw market is a must see if you are ever in Nassau and have the time. I will definitely go back there when I have more time. The Bahamas is the most pleasant place in the world to be! Make your next vacation in the Bahamas and you won't be sorry. The most freindly people in the world live in the Bahamas. I prefer the smaller secluded islands but you may enjoy the lively tropical all night atmosphere of the large islands like Nassau.
