10 minutes of my best video clips on a 200 km drive from a remote mining camp in the Yukon Territory to Watson Lake on the Robert Campbell Highway. Recorded by Mark Erney in June 2012 while providing satellite technical assistance to the camp. Feel what it's like to take a secluded drive through the Yukon Territory. Video taped during the week that the Alaska Highway and Campbell Highway were closed due to wash outs in multiple places from days and days of heavy rain. Includes a clip driving by the famous "sign post forest" in Watson Lake, which is the largest "legal" collection of stolen property in the world! Includes some really beautiful scenery and landscape, with captions by Mark Erney. Ending with a 1 minute slideshow showing black bears we saw on the way back to the camp.

Feel what it's like driving on Eleuthera island. Starts with a 2 minute slideshow showing the route getting to Surfer's Beach, Eleuthera Bahamas, and then 11 minutes of dash cam video showing the return drive through Gregory Town and Lower Bogue to the airport in North Eleuthera 2009. Recorded by Mark Erney while doing work on a satellite dish that was damaged by a hurricane there. Also includes a stop at the famous "Glass Window Bridge" which is the most narrow point on the island and connects the north and south parts of the island. Eleuthera is a really beautiful relaxing place to visit. Music by Kevin Macleod. Narrative captions by Mark Erney.

This is the long 6 minute version of an arctic snowcat ride where I travel 20 km across the ice from a remote mining exploration camp in Nunavut, Canada to the city of Rankin Inlet. Temps were about -42 C with a wind chill of -57 C. Recorded by satellite technician Mark Erney while providing assistance to the camp in May 2012. Ends with a short drive from the snowcat to the airport through the city of Rankin Inlet. I can't imagine what it would be like to get caught in a whiteout or blizzard on this ride. The arctic is very unpredictable. Things can change in minutes. Narrative captions by Mark Erney.

My first attempt at a short video documentary of the beautiful Colonial Parkway which runs through and underneath Historic Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. The parkway is a 23 mile long scenic drive and extends from Yorktown, Virginia to Jamestown Island. The video starts out on the Yorktown end of the parkway and midway it shows beautiful footage of the Jamestown Landing area and world famous Jamestown Island Loop. Near the end of the video you get a view of the ferry crossing the James River to Jamestown from Surry, Virginia. The absolute BEST clips are near the end of the video on the Jamestown Island Loop. It also includes some beautiful shots of the York River along the tour with a good clip going through the tunnel underneath Colonial Williamsburg. Ending with a 1 minute slideshow showing some of the most beautiful still pictures I took while there. Recorded, produced, and unscripted narration by Satellite Earth Station and VSAT dish technician Mark Erney in the fall of 2012 during the Black Friday Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Includes a drive through Newport News, and a good view of the Hampton Coliseum near the end of the video. A 10 minute dash cam tour around the battlefields of Yorktown, Virginia, with a drive down the beach water front strip of the York River at the finish of the video. Recorded and narrated by satellite dish technician Mark Erney fall of 2012. This is my first dash cam tour test video using Magix Movie Editor Pro. The videos should get better as I learn the software and my camera settings get better. Wow! I never understood how important quality settings are when using your camera until recently. I may actually do a few tutorial videos on what I'm learning. I figured it's only fair to share some of the beauty near my home here in Virginia.
