| This is a 2.4 meter non-penetrating VSAT system we installed for Banco De Colombia in Bogota Colombia, South America. This was quit a difficult job due to many circumstances. First, it was on top of a twenty story building and the antenna panels and mount had to be hoisted up the side of the building by a work crew we hired locally. Second, we had a very difficult time getting equipment released from Colombian Customs. Third, the cable run had to penetrate twelve floors to reach the modem at the equipment location. Besides these minor difficulties, we really enjoyed doing this job because of the people we met and had the pleasure to work with. Colombian people are very hard workers and have a great sense of humor! |
