This is the hardest removal Satellite Communications East and Mark Erney have ever done. These are pictures and images of a "whole" satellite teleport facilty removal with only me (Mark Erney), my right hand technician (Clint Lewis), a crane, boom truck, and we used two local helpers for the last few days carrying satellite earth station dish parts to be packed in the shipping containers. It's almost hard to believe, but I was able to disassemble and pack a 9 meter Andrew satellite earth station dish, 7 meter Vertex satellite earth station dish, 5.6 meter Andrew satellite earth station dish, and a 4.5 meter two piece Andrew satellite dish, all in two 40' shipping containers. All of them were delivered safely to one of the customer's other teleport facilities with no damage or shifting of the loads. All parts including the mounts were carefully packed and secured in the shipping containers as you can see by the pictures and images below. The smaller Prodelin fiberglass dishes were cut up and sent to the dump, but the large earth station dishes were salvaged to be used at another teleport facility. We did this during the terrible heat wave they had in Texas summer of 2011. The inside of the shipping containers reached temps as high as 140-150 on some days. We did this teleport facility removal in 32 days with basically two people doing the majority of work (ME and my loyal right hand technician Clint Lewis). The last three pictures below show everything removed from the site all the way down to the concrete pillars. We were definitely exhausted when we sent the trucks away, but we were very happy to have the work. This is our specialty and we love this kind of work! Please contact us if you need a large satellite earth station or vsat dish removal. We can do it safe, professional, and cost effectively. Mark Erney |
