| These are pictures of a 4.5 meter Andrew satellite earth station that we removed from an old military communications center on the Oregon coast. We really enjoyed working in Oregon. The people were super friendly and the landscape in Oregon is so beautiful! This satellite dish was in excellent condition and will work fantastic when we recondition it and reinstall it. The heater kit which we threw away really protected the dish from the environment. The back side looked like brand new once we removed the heater kit panels. This is an excellent model two panel dish that is no longer made. I love this model dish because it literally lasts forever! This model Andrew dish had a super rigid outer support band, and the aluminum is thicker than what is on the new style 4.5 meter dish. They just don't make them like this anymore. A little TLC and this satellite dish will be good for another ten years. If you ever get hold of this model dish, keep it. It's one of the best dishes ever made. This was part of three satellite dish earth stations we removed from the north west United States coast. We packed them all in one 40' shipping container and shipped them to Florida. They arrived in Florida safely with no damage. As you can see by the last images, we leave the site nice and clean with all debris removed and all stub ups on the concrete cut off flush.
